A dynamic and accomplished violinist, this extraordinary performer blends the elegance of classical strings with the energy of jazz, soul, gospel, hip-hop, and contemporary music. Beginning her musical journey at just four years old, she developed a distinctive sound influenced by everything from traditional gospel and Washington, D.C.’s go-go music to swinging jazz and classical symphonic works.
Today, her signature style delivers an innovative, jazz-infused take on contemporary soul, creating a sophisticated yet exciting musical experience perfect for corporate events, weddings, private celebrations, galas, cocktail receptions, and upscale special events.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated and performed with an impressive roster of internationally recognized artists, including Wynton Marsalis, Quincy Jones, Common, Diana Krall, Savion Glover, Musiq Soulchild, Kim Burrell, and William McDowell. She has also appeared as an opening act for legendary R&B performers Meli'sa Morgan and Freddie Jackson.
Her accomplishments include top honors at the McDonald’s Gospelfest Competition and West Oak Lane Jazz Festival Competition, as well as recognition as a semifinalist in an Apollo Theater competition, performing before an audience of approximately 10,000.
Her festival and special-event appearances have included the Baltimore African American Heritage Festival, Lincoln Park Music Festival, JVC Jazz Festival, Soul of Brooklyn, and New York City's Fall for Dance Festival, where she collaborated with the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Beyond the stage, she is also an accomplished teaching artist and music educator. After earning her master's degree with honors, she began working with young string musicians in New York City, helping students bridge the worlds of classical violin technique with contemporary jazz and hip-hop influences.
