The JAZZ JOEL TRIO performs in a variety of styles.   They try to put our musical sincerity along with the love of the Jazz Trio format first and foremost. Their audience is an important ingredient that challenges our connection to them.  Joel and his musicians appear regularly at Concert venues, Jazz Clubs, Libraries, Museums, and more, with audience engaging programs dedicated to New Jersey’s musical treasure: 7 time Grammy Award  Winner Bill Evans.  They play to “full houses” because of his  personalized experiences with Bill and with the audience.

JOEL  - Jazz great Dr. Billy Taylor, was the first to give airplay to Joel’s first jazz album, “MOVE”, which was reissued in Japan. A contemporary of Bill Evans, Joel has entertained 5 presidents, is a pianist/bandleader for thousands of events, and has performed at concert venues in New York, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Japan and Greece. NYC venues include: Windows On The World and The Rainbow Room. He has recorded four CD’s and holds a B.A. from New Jersey City University and an M.A. from Rutgers University.  His latest recording, “Live At Steinway Piano Gallery” was released in Japan and the U.S.
