A memorable moment in Robs career occurred when he was a featured MP Officer in the movie A Beautiful Mind, and was unexpectedly given personal direction for the scene by Ron Howard. He also landed a role in the musical comedy Funny Business (Dodger Productions) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, as a young, up and coming comedian. He toured the top Casino Theaters with the cast of HBOs The Sopranos in Comedy You Cant Refuse.
Rob began his career as a Cast Member and sketch writer on FOX 5 TVsThe Uptown Comedy Club, filmed in front of a live audience in Harlem, New York, for two years. Rob is still recognized Coast to Coast by his many fans of the show! He appeared on TV Lands Top Ten Show several times in multiple episodes, and was told by the producer that he rated among the highest in likeability. He also appeared on Late Night with Conan OBrien and The Cosby Mysteries on NBC, opposite James Naughton.
Rob was a Special Guest Performer for Michael Buble at Town Hall in New York City and for, Cyndi Lauper, Dennis Miller, Susie Essman, and Olivia Newton John, who had fun with Rob and his John Travolta impression!
He attended Montclair University in New Jersey and studied Acting, Film, Theatre, and performed in the Broadcasting Departments sketch comedy show. He began doing open mic nights on campus and in comedy clubs in New Jersey and New York. Within a short period of time, he became a regular on the New York City comedy club scene and his comedy career was launched.
