“red carpet” before realizing that it is part of a surreal, couture gown. Perfect for VIP entrances,

grand openings and soiree fun. Available in various colors; additional $500 charge (pink, blue, yellow, etc)

• Available up to 130 foot  length measurements.
• Flooring requirements include: carpet, marble, smooth tile only (no grass, cobblestone, uneven surfaces)
• Only able to be laid in straight line; (no stairs, no curves; no angles)

LIVING RED CARPET FAQS

 

1. Q: How does the Living Red Carpet work? Is it really made of carpet?
   A: We create an elegant illusion with a dress and a very long train made of the same fabric. The illusion is NOT made of carpet, it is fabric. The long train of the dress is professionally adhered to the ground.
2. Q: The photo you sent us shows 65 ft. Is this “carpet” length mandatory?
   A: No, the length is up to you. The photo is a simple example to show clients how long 65 ft actually is. The Living Red Carpet is available for lengths up to 150 ft.

 

1. Q: Is the fabric safe to walk on? Will guests trip on the fabric as it lies on the ground?
   A:  Yes, it is safe – no they will not trip. Industrial-grade technical double-sided carpet tape is used to secure the tightened fabric – no bunching, folding or sliding.

 

1. Q: My event is outdoors. Is this possible?
   A: Yes, but keep in mind that in order for the tape to adhere to the ground and the fabric, it will have to be swept and/or sprayed with water prior – no dust, twigs, dirt, etc.

 

1. Q: My event takes place on a golf course green. Is this possible?
   A: Yes, but a plywood 5ft wide “sidewalk” will have to be put in place prior. Additional charges may apply.

 

1. Q: We have multiple entrances to our event. Can you supply more than one Living Red Carpet?
   A: Yes, each entrance can have its own Living Red Carpet attaching to one model per entrance.  Alternatively, additional charges apply for unique, multiple train solutions.

 

1. Q: How wide is the “carpet”?
   A: The “carpet” is 5 feet wide.

 

1. Q: How long does it take to lay down the carpet?
   A: It takes approximately two (2) hours to secure the carpet in place.

 

1. Q: Can the Living Red Carpet go around a corner or down stairs?
   A: No, the “carpet” is only available in a straight shot – no stairs.

 

1. Q: Why can’t the Living Red Carpet be used on stairs?
   A: As the illusion is made of fabric (not carpet), we cannot guarantee the safety of guests as they walk down the “carpeted” stairs. Bunching, folding and sliding may occur on stairs – it is not safe.

 

1. Q: We’re not sure what the length should be of our red carpet.  Do we have to be exact or can we make adjustments on site?
   A: No, you don’t have to be exact with the length. The Living Red Carpet runs up to 150 ft. Whatever is not used lays elegantly around the model’s base (see photo). Exact measurements ensure a better illusion.

 

1. Q: Does the model in the dress need a break?
   A: Yes, the model needs a 15 minute break around every two (2) hours. Based on your event schedule, we can calculate when would be best time for her break.

 

1. Q: How does the model take a break? She can't just walk out with all of the material attached - correct?
   A: The “Living Red Carpet” is a visual illusion. For her 15-minute break, the model simply un-attaches herself from the long “carpet” train portion of her dress. The “carpet” on the ground stays intact. When she returns, she pulls up the train portion and is attached again. The long “carpet” never moves from its secure, taped-down placement.

 

1. Q: Can we choose our own dress design?
   A: No, the dress is only available in a single design.

 

1. Q: We have a football-themed event. Can you make a custom “green football field” dress?
   A: Yes, we can make custom themed versions of the Living Red Carpet. Additional charges apply.

 

1. Q: Our event is longer than the two (2) hours that is listed in the pricing and product description. What is the total cost?
   A: An additional $250 charge is added for every hour beyond the set two hours.

 

1. Q: Can you match my client’s logo color with the Living Red Carpet?
   A: Yes, various colors are available. Popular colors include red, royal blue, purple, pink, black, yellow, orange, green. Please add $500.00 for unique color.
